On Monday morning, Apple announced an upgrade to the entire iMac lineup. While the prices have not changed, all four models have received processor, RAM and other upgrades. The new lineup looks like this:

20″ iMac 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1GB RAM, and a 250GB drive for $1,199
20″ iMac 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM and a 320GB drive for $1,499
24″ iMac 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM and a 320GB drive for $1,799
24″ iMac 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, 500GB drive and a NVDIA GeForce 8800 GS Graphics Processor for $2,199. This 24″ model is available by order only.

These new iMacs are in stock now! According to some recent tests, the new iMacs are fast, fast, fast with new front-side bus speeds and faster RAM.

Well it took a bit longer than we would have liked to get this program up and running, but our long-promised classes are set to begin. After having spent months trying to find the right facility, we have decided to just go ahead and fit this into the store.

Starting March 17, we will offer classes four nights per week. You will see two new pages on this web site with information on our new PeachTeach program. The PeachTeach page has an outline of the three components of the new program, and, of course, the calendar page will show you our class schedule for March and April. We are going to see how much demand there is for each of our initial offerings before we make the May schedule.
