   Introduction to Mac
If you're new to the Mac, or to OS X, this is class is for you. You'll learn your way around the desktop and how to use preferences and settings to make your new computer work the way you want it to. You'll learn how to install new applications, get online, and organize your files. After attending this class you will be comfortable with the basics of your new computer and be ready to discover the remarkable things you can do with your new Mac.
   Introduction to Leopard
Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard is Apple's newest operating system. In this class you'll master some of its exciting new features including Stacks, Spaces, Time Machine, and enhanced Parental Controls. This is a great class for a regular Mac user, but even a Mac professional will learn new tricks. Start taking advantage of everything Leopard can do for you!
   iWork '08
This class will teach you the basics of Apple's incredible productivity suite of Pages for word processing, Numbers for spreadsheets, and Keynote for presentations. See why so many people are switching from Microsoft Office to this great package. We will spend time on each of the three applications and show you what you need to get up and running in each. Time will also be spent on how the three will integrate with the other applications on your Mac to create stunning documents and presentations. You will learn how Pages can be both a word processor and a page layout product with easy-to-use templates. Numbers will make your spreadsheets dance with a combination of numbers, charts and graphic elements. And you will see why Keynote has become the presentation tool of choice for those in the know.
   Office 2008
Office is one of the most commonly used software suites on both Macs and Windows machines, and Microsoft has just released a new version, Office 2008 for OS X. In the Microsoft Office 2008 class, we'll help you get the most out of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. We will cover basic document creation using the Project Gallery, document formatting, as well as spreadsheet and presentation creation. Learn how to make Office work for you!
   Switching from Windows
If you consider yourself fairly proficient with Microsoft Windows but are making the transition to a Macintosh, this course is just what you are looking for. Learn some of the differences between Windows and OS X, and learn how to adapt your Windows skills to a new operating system. This class will minimize your “switching” frustration and show you that you probably know more than you think you do!
   iPhoto '08
iPhoto is Apple's remarkably easy-to-use, all-in-one application for importing, organizing, editing, and sharing digital photos, but most people don't tap the depths beneath the surface of this great application. This class will cover a wide range of topics - from importing photos to image enhancement to the creation of slideshows. You will learn to harness iPhoto's outstanding organizational features such as Events, Smart Albums, and keywords. You will also learn how to send your photos by email; design and order photo books; and even share your entire photo library.
   Using Windows on a Mac
In this class we will cover running Windows and Windows applications on your Intel-based Macintosh. Mac users have many choices when it comes to running Windows, and this class will cover the major three - Boot Camp, Parallels, and Fusion. We'll help you decide which option would be best for your needs, and we'll show you how to install Windows. Truly have the best of both worlds in your computer!
   GarageBand
Channel your inner rock star! GarageBand allows you to record yourself or your band and edit and mix like a pro. Best of all this incredible software is included on all new Macintosh computers! Learn how record with both real and software instruments. Add prerecorded loops, edit the song and send it to iTunes to share with others. We'll also help you select the right hardware for your recording needs.
   Advanced Mac
This class is for folks who are ready for the next level of Mac usage If you've attended “Introduction to Macintosh - Getting Started” and you've been using your Mac for a while, you'll benefit from this class. Topics include disk burning, setting up multiple users, file sharing, customizing the Finder, using Parental Controls, and more. (This course is not designed for novice users.)
   iMovie '08
Included on all new Macs, iMovie is Apple's simple but powerful tool for creating and editing movies from your digital video camera. Learn how to import footage from your digital video camera and edit the clips. Then learn how to add a soundtrack, transitions, titles and other effects. You will also learn how to share your finished movie with the world!
